PhD in Occupational Health Sciences (CUCS UdeG 2020-2023) graduated from the Master's Degree in Processes and Graphic Expression for Urban Architectural Projection (Member Program of the PNPC register of academic excellence of CONACYT) and prior to her entry, she developed as safety and hygiene supervisor, management of the health and environment area in a construction company in the city of Guadalajara, where she developed extensive knowledge in Occupational Health, Safety and Hygiene and management of resources and waste for the protection of the environment. Previous studies in Design for Graphic Communication at the University Center of Art, Architecture and Design (CUAAD) and Technician in Medical Emergencies at the Mexican Red Cross, where she worked as a volunteer for more than 20 years within the emergency medicine. Collaboration in the admission process of new generations of the Doctorate in Occupational Health Sciences at the University of Guadalajara, in accordance with the principles and values of CONAHCYT.
Current job
She currently works in the general services project area of the Civil Hospital of Guadalajara, where she incorporates the work of the line of research that she has developed from the master's degree to the doctorate on the design of healthy interior spaces for users, and is mainly related to the management of work and remodeling within hospital spaces and epidemiological surveillance, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare. Performs management work on procedures to reduce the risk of infections during adaptations, constructions and remodeling of areas.
Awards and distinctions
She has had outstanding performance during her stay in both graduate programs, with excellence in the master's degree and honorable mention in the PhD. She built a draft Standard for the Ministry of Labor and Social Security during an academic stay, which is currently under review by said Ministry, in the project that a meta-analysis was carried out on the problem of biological risks in the physical spaces of work or interior spaces and the complete sections of the Standard were established. Her contribution and social responsibility in the health sector and architecture stands out, due to the validation of an instrument to measure the presence of sick building syndrome and psychosocial risk factors in health personnel in hospital environments in Mexico. Carried out the development and contribution from a program of education and health promotion of physical spaces in the workplace, to the teaching and administrative staff of CUAAD and to a recently opened private hospital; During the development of these programs, it integrated actions of safety and protection of the environment and sustainability, with its line of research and areas of knowledge being transdisciplinary, with extensive knowledge of art, design, health at work, biostatistics, psychosocial intervention , safety and hygiene, pre-hospital medicine, architecture and urban planning.
